Nokia’s new Mozzaker Application

Nokia recently announced the launch of a new range of mobile applications and content tailored for the holy month of Ramadan. Mozzaker – a Ramadan application is available on Ovi Store to enhance the Itikaf experience. This updated mobile application tailored for the Holy Month can be downloaded on the compatible Nokia devices for free directly from Nokia’s Ovi Store.

Mozzaker allows mobile users to listen, search and translate a large collection of daily Azkar and selected supplications. People can also download more Azkar and share via SMS and MMS with friends and family.

Nokia Ramadan Applications 2010 includes the feature rich Mozzaker application which offers a large collection of Azkar and supplications with translation. Paul the Octopus backs England’s bid to host World Cup 2018

Paul the Octopus is the latest in a line of renowned figures to pledge allegiance to England’s bid to host the World Cup in 2018.

The octopus became famous for correctly predicting all of Germany’s seven games in the World Cup 2010, as well as the final of the tournament. Now Paul has swum into the 2018 box to become an official ambassador for the bid, joining the likes of David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand, Lewis Hamilton, Noel Gallagher and Sting. Unilever contributes Rs. 113 Million towards flood relief and rehabilitation

Unilever, the global leader in consumer products, has committed € 1 million (US$ 1.28 million, Rs. 113 million) towards flood relief and rehabilitation in Pakistan. This will be channelled through five leading NGOs – World Food Programme, Unicef, Oxfam, Save the Children Fund and Population Services International – which are actively engaged in relief activities in the flood affected areas. Unilever’s contributions will be in cash and products from its portfolio of soap, detergents, toothpaste, shampoo, tea, glucose drinks and food items.

Unilever donates €1 million for the floods relief in Pakistan

Unilever is providing €1 million in cash donations, food and hygiene products following devastating floods in Pakistan.
Unilever announced on 13th August, 2010 that it will provide €1 million to help Pakistan combat the devastating effects of the monsoon floods. The donation will be divided between the World Food Programme (WFP), UNICEF, Save the Children, Oxfam and Population Services International (PSI).
The donation will be in the form of both cash and products including soap, toothpaste and shampoo. Unilever Pakistan will also look to work with these agencies over the coming months to help with rehabilitation projects.
In addition, Unilever has worked closely with its partner, the World Food Programme (WFP), to set up a joint website so that its employees can help those affected by the flooding, and the company will match all employee donations to maximise its contribution.
