Premier Foods promotes Quorn through online recipe videos

Premier Foods has kicked off its first online video campaign, for its vegetarian Quorn brand. The two-month campaign, which launched yesterday, will include eight Quorn-themed recipe videos, produced by Videojug.

‘Glee’ Urges Fans To Volunteer Via AmEx Effort

American Express’ Members Project and Take Park are partnering with Fox series “Glee” to urge fans to “make a difference” by volunteering, voting or donating.

Sears Looks To Boost Online Shoe Savvy

As part of its continuing efforts to shore up its online offerings, Sears says it is launching Sears.com Shoe Experience Website, a 450-brand emporium that it will push through social marketing efforts.

The retailer hopes its microsite, hosted by fashion stylist Francesca Mills, will blend the feeling of blogs, social media and commerce with more engaging — and even useful — commentary. Kraft foods kicks off multichannel marketing campaign to help fight hunger

Kraft Foods is enlisting several big-name sports celebrities, ranging from all-star quarterback Joe Montana to ESPN journalist Erin Andrews to promote its “Huddle to Fight Hunger” charity drive, reports MediaPost.

Consumers who visit Kraft’s website will be able to learn what they can do to fight hunger in the United States, courtesy of tips from participating sports stars. For each person that “joins the huddle,” Kraft will donate one meal to the Feeding America food bank, with the goal of contributing 20 million meals. Cadbury looks to boost engagement for sweets brand

Cadbury has launched an integrated campaign for its Natural Confectionery Company brand to get more people to connect with it on social networks. The campaign, developed by Weapon 7, focuses on the characters of the animal-shaped sweets after research found kids enjoyed playing games with the shapes.

Citroën unveils humorous digital marketing campaign

Citroën has launched a humorous digital marketing campaign called “Wash Me If You Can” which revolves around the C3’ Zenith windscreen.

Produced by Paris-based The H Agency, the campaign directs consumers to a video-based microsite that allows them to choose from five very different, larger-than-life characters and to unleash their ’unique’ washing talents on the huge panoramic glass surface. espn to launch premier league mobile app

ESPN is preparing to launch a mobile phone application offering video footage of every Premier League goal “usually within minutes” of it being scored.  The app, titled ESPN Goals, features a basic service offering news and live scores, which is free-to-download. However, the full video clips package will cost either £3.99 a month or £29.99 for the whole season.

UK users will be able to access the app on Apple’s iPhone or Google Android-enabled devices, along with ESPN’s mobile site. The app will expand to other mobile services, such as Nokia’s Ovi Store, in due course, reports The Guardian. Continue reading ‘espn to launch premier league mobile app’

the 10 rupees campaign

A group of medical students at Dow Medical College have created a facebook page called ‘The 10 Rupees Campaign.’ They invited hundreds of people to join this movement by donating at least Rs.10 for the victims of the deadliest floods to hit the country. The group will set up collection points at universities all over Karachi (schedule below) starting from August 17, 2010 onwards.

“Our country is in need and it is our duty, to help out in whatever way we can. So we have taken it upon ourselves, to raise some money for these victims,” reads the description on the Facebook page. Continue reading ‘the 10 rupees campaign’

starbucks, yahoo join forces for local web sites

This fall, customers would encounter customized page when hopping on Wi-Fi at cafes. Starbucks, hoping to leverage its recent decision to offer free Wi-Fi, is working with Yahoo to create a Web site customized for each location.

The Seattle-based coffee chain has announced that — in addition to The New York Times, USA Today, Yahoo and Zagat — publisher Rodale, Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. Boost and online charity DonorsChoose.org also will be contributing content providers for its Starbucks Digital Network.
