Premier Foods promotes Quorn through online recipe videos

Premier Foods has kicked off its first online video campaign, for its vegetarian Quorn brand. The two-month campaign, which launched yesterday, will include eight Quorn-themed recipe videos, produced by Videojug.

Apple launches music social network Ping

Apple has launched Ping, a social media service that ties into iTunes allowing users to follow musicians and friends.

Ping will be tied into Apple’s next update for iTunes software and will allow users to follow musicians and friends and receive information such as what music they are listening to or what concerts they attending in a stream similar to Facebook or Twitter. ‘Glee’ Urges Fans To Volunteer Via AmEx Effort

American Express’ Members Project and Take Park are partnering with Fox series “Glee” to urge fans to “make a difference” by volunteering, voting or donating.

Sears Looks To Boost Online Shoe Savvy

The retailer hopes its microsite, hosted by fashion stylist Francesca Mills, will blend the feeling of blogs, social media and commerce with more engaging — and even useful — commentary.
