The hour-long webinar, which is part of the Mobile Marketer webinar series, will discuss strategies and tactics that retailers require to run effective mobile marketing campaigns.

“Mobile is retail’s best tool for customer acquisition and retention,” said Mickey Alam Khan, editor of Mobile Marketer and Mobile Commerce Daily. “A retailer without a mobile strategy is a retailer without a last-mile strategy.

“Consumers are using mobile devices to communicate, search, compare prices, shop and buy,” he said. “It shouldn’t take much imagination for smart retailers to give legs to their traditional media by adding SMS short codes as well as creating mobile sites and applications to offer a portable shopping experience.”

The panel participants include Ever Santana, a franchisee of multiple IHOP restaurants; Michael Ahearn, vice president of marketing strategy at iLoop Mobile; and Steven Gray, chief operating officer of Money Mailer.
