The craze behind Nokia’s 5800 Express Music isn’t dying any soon. Here we have a giant 5800 that has invaded Antwerp and another copy of the 5800. The Antwerp display allows bystanders to interact with a giant screen and shows off the phone’s capabilities. The fake mobile is yet another creation from NOKLA, who have shamelessly copied each and every creation of Nokia’s.
The Nokia Store in Antwerp is showing a working touchscreen version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and has triggered a touch-a-thon from passersbys. The blow up of the 5800 XpressMusic enables pedestrians to interact with the device and explore its talents, including Maps, browsing photos and listening to tunes, all whilst stood on the pavement.
The interface has been developed by a company which specializes in touchscreen called Visual Planet and has been marketed by Creative Multimedia. According to them, the hardware used was an iWindow Interactive foil combined with their unique daylight technology which gives awesome result even in bright sunlight.

The Fake 5800

The fake NOKIA 5800 is pictured below. The Hong Kong-based doppelganger has made yet another shameless copy, they’re using the Symbian S60 5th Edition for this so it looks very real. Vietnamese retailer L. A. digital’s selling it for 1,900,000 VND, or about $107 US.
