lipton yellow label’s “clear your mind” campaign!

Lipton Clear Your Mind campaign is to-date one of the biggest,  and most ambitious projects for any brand in Pakistan on a digital medium, launched by Converge Technologies. The campaign is all about keeping your thinking fresh and clear via Lipton tea and its key ingredient, theannine  - It involved audiences by encouraging participation in their SMS Challenge and Interactive games on the website.

The campaign involved both ATL and BTL mediums, as well as digital challenging users to “Clear their Minds” and attempt to solve some tricky riddles with the clarity provided by Lipton teas.

Ice cream brand Carvel breaks first mobile campaign

He has a blog on MySpace, a Facebook profile and even his own personal email account. And now Carvel’s Fudgie, the spokeswhale for the retail
ice cream chain, is sending text messages too. This is part of a mobile campaign Carvel Ice Cream launched asking consumers to text Fudgie’s name to 78247 to receive a personalized text back from the whale himself. Consumers will receive a mobile coupon for a blended coffee or an Arctic Blender and entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a 42-inch television set.

Mobile, internet usage growing fast in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is among the five dynamic economies of developing Asia in terms of increased penetration of mobile phones, internet and broadband, says the Information Economy Report, 2009 published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad).

Among the five countries in terms of mobile penetration, Pakistan is placed at number three followed by Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Iran and Maldives remain at the top positions, respectively.

In the area of internet penetration, Pakistan is placed at the third position and for broadband penetration the country is at the fourth position.
