Introduction To Social Media
We can see that over the years digital marketing has gained eminence importance and popularity. Engagement continues to be the hottest buzzword in advertising thereby giving digital marketing the popularity it has today.
If we observe the current marketing strategy of developing countries, it is quite apparent that digital marketing has not yet gained momentum. Most of the spending goes to TV and Hoardings – the conventional media. Digital Media in Pakistan is new and tricky. Many companies in Pakistan have not yet developed a strategy for social / digital media. However, there have been distinct changes over the past two years in ‘how’ companies choose to advertise, hence a turn towards digital marketing.
